OPENING NIGHT!!!!!

Last night was the official opening of The National Tour of Oliver! The cast did a wonderful job in front of a very good crowd of approximately 2000 people!! They performed at the Saroyan Theater in Fresno California. The theater was incredible! It was very contemporary and very big! It was great for the crew to have so much room in the wings and the cast enjoyed the nice dressing rooms!

Afterwards we had an opening party at the sports bar in the hotel. We all had a great time eating, drinking(shirley temples for Colin!) and enjoying the company of the rest of the cast, crew, and creative team. I've got lots of pictures some of which you can see below. You can go to http://picasaweb.google.com/olivertour08

Unfortunately now that the show opened, the director and choreographer will be leaving and moving on to other projects. Colin had a difficult time saying goodbye to Clayton and Vince. They both taught him so much!!! They promised to come back during the tour to see the show again, so that helped.

The boys had school today from 11-3. We're going to have a little downtime and then eat dinner and head back to the theater for tonights performance! Tomorrow we head to Stockton Ca for an evening performance.
